Red Kuri squash were developed in Japan, believed to be descended from Hubbard types brought there by the Portuguese in the late 1800s.

This variety has a very tasty, sweet yellow tone flesh and keeps well through winter. Long veining plants produce 3-4 squash per and can be trellised.
