When I was a production farmer supplying restaurants, csa's, and farmers markets, this was our workhouse snap bean variety. Bush type know for its high yields, widely adapted to many climates, stringless, and good disease resistance. This variety was introduced in 1965 in South Carolina by horticulturist, Dr. Hoffman. Great choice for any beginning grower as well since it can be grown in planter pots if no garden garden beds are available.
